INTRODUCING BOWMORE ARC 54

December 16, 2025

Few bottles in the world can truly be called legendary. Even fewer earn that title before they’re released. Bowmore ARC‑54, new to Collection ‘86, is one of those rare creations — a whisky shaped by more than half a century of aging, a sculptural bottle born from Aston Martin design principles, and a release so limited that only 130 decanters exist worldwide.

Collection ’86 is proud to spotlight this extraordinary expression, a whisky that represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship, collaboration, and time itself.

A COLLABORATION BETWEEN ICONS: BOWMORE X ASTON MARTIN
ARC‑54 is the latest chapter in the ongoing creative partnership between Bowmore, Islay’s oldest licensed distillery (est. 1779), and Aston Martin, the British marque synonymous with performance and design.

This release draws inspiration from the aerodynamic flow of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, one of the most advanced hypercars ever built. The bottle’s sculptural form mirrors the airflow beneath the Valkyrie’s chassis — a sweeping, fluid motion captured in glass.

The result is a decanter that feels less like packaging and more like a piece of modern art:

  • A diffuser‑inspired glass base that ripples like molten amber
  • A sleek, aerodynamic metallic top reminiscent of Aston Martin’s design language
  • A silhouette that blends engineering precision with organic movement
  • A presence that commands attention even before the cork is pulled

This is not a bottle you display. It’s a bottle you present.

A WHISKY 54 YEARS IN THE MAKING
ARC‑54 is one of the oldest Bowmore releases ever bottled — a whisky shaped by more than five decades of patient maturation on the island of Islay.

The Cask Journey

The whisky spent:

  • 54 years aging in
    • 2nd‑fill European Oak Sherry Butt
    • 3rd‑fill American Oak Hogshead
  • Followed by 15 months of unification, allowing the flavors to harmonize into a single, multidimensional expression

This long, deliberate maturation is inspired by the Golden Ratio, a nod to the balance and symmetry Bowmore seeks in its oldest whiskies.

The Colour

A natural spun gold, shimmering with the depth and radiance only time can create.

Aroma, Palate & Finish: A Lifetime of Flavor

Bowmore describes ARC‑54 as a whisky with “a lifetime of flavour and character,” and the profile lives up to that promise.

Aroma

  • Sweet, syrupy vanilla
  • Soft butterscotch and buttery shortbread
  • Tropical mango and sweet peach
  • Subtle orange zest
  • Toasted oak
  • Candied walnuts
  • A whisper of eucalyptus mint

It’s an aromatic landscape — warm, sweet, and layered with complexity.

Palate

  • Rich fruity sweetness
  • Fresh green apple
  • Bergamot and lime
  • Salted caramel
  • Floral notes
  • Warming ginger and sweet cinnamon
  • A gentle rise of Bowmore’s signature peat smoke

The palate evolves in waves, each one revealing a new facet of its 54‑year journey.

Finish

  • Long
  • Smooth
  • Sweet and herbal
  • With a refined, elegant peat character

A finish that lingers like a memory.

A PRICE THAT REFLECTS ITS RARITY
With an RSP of $80,000 USD (excluding VAT and duties), ARC‑54 sits firmly in the realm of ultra‑luxury whisky — a collector’s piece, an investment, and a once‑in‑a‑generation release.

Only 130 bottles exist globally. Each is individually numbered, making every decanter a singular artifact of whisky history.

As Yaamava’ celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, ARC‑54 arrives as a symbol of what Collection ’86 represents: heritage, innovation, and a relentless commitment to curating the extraordinary.

This is more than a whisky. It’s a moment in time — captured, sculpted, and bottled.
