Screaming Eagle 'The Flight'
The Collection
Notorious for its exclusive supply and universal intrigue, Screaming Eagle is one of the most coveted wine collections to ever exist. The hidden Oakville vineyards of Napa Valley nurture the origins of the Screaming Eagle, bringing the character of its Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes to life. Through the multitude of changes within the vineyard soil, the grapes garner their distinct, prestigious flavor. For 15 months, the blends will then age in French Oak barrels to cultivate their complexity of taste.
The production of Screaming Eagle has remained between 700-1,000 cases, and a second wine, the Second Flight now "THE FLIGHT", includes 520-800 cases. The introduction of a second wine is an attempt to keep Screaming Eagle at its mythical level of quality. This vineyard, situated on the valley floor at the Oakville Crossroads across the road from the Rudd Estate, encompasses 60 acres, but only a small percentage is used for these two cuvees.
